The goal of the ROCKRGRL Music Conference 2005 is to promote, encourage and celebrate women's achievements in the music industry. With two nights of music showcases featuring female artists in all styles, a special Woman of Valor award dinner (this year honoring Patti Smith), two full days of panels, workshops and an artist-friendly trade show, the ROCKRGRL Music Conference 2005 is a unique and innovative event. Meet, mix and mingle in the beautiful city of Seattle.

Patti Smith
Few artists have had as much influence on other artists as the iconic Patti Smith. On Friday morning, November 11, be there as Patti talks about her incredible career, spanning three decades.

Patti will also be the guest of honor at the Woman of Valor Award Banquet, the kick-off for the ROCKRGRL Music Conference 2005, on Thursday night, November 10. Incidentally, this date ALSO marks the 30 year anniversary of the release of Horses. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate Patti's influence and this great career milestone. She will also perform a few songs with her long-time guitarist, Lenny Kaye. (Dinner is $100 per person and is not included in the conference registration fee.)
